Description

Please Note: On 1/12/18, the Maryland General Assembly overrode Governor Hogan's veto of the Maryland Healthy Working Families Act, which requires Maryland employers to provide Earned Sick and Safe Leave. It goes into effect on 2/11/18. It will effect employers of all size businesses. Montgomery County already has an Earned Sick and Safe Leave Law, but the requirements passed at the state and county levels do not fully align, so you'll need to take steps to comply. We will also address this issue, in additition to the below, at this event.
